Now, I am the first to admit that I'm no Brain of Britain. My eyes cloud over with confused fog should someone attempt to explain the finer complexities of the internal combustion engine, there are menus on my digi box that will forever remain a mystery to me, and I have long maintained that I hit my academic peak when I passed the entrance exam to gain my place at private girls' school, aged 11.
I'm not however a complete numpty either. I did manage to stay the course at the private girls' school and left at the end of the 6th form with 8 GSCEs and 3 A-levels under my belt. I've run my own business since I was 19, I know the difference between there, they're and their, and I'm rather good at Sudoku. I've always worked in very customer facing environments and have met all sorts of people from all walks of life.
